Coding at Cask Strength: Barreling in React Native

Cask strength (also known as barrel proof/barrel strength) is a term used by whisky  producers to describe a whisky that has not been substantially diluted after its storage in a cask for maturation. Cask Strength products tend to be stronger and more potent. In programming, applying simple concepts can prevent work from getting diluted and keep our code as strong as possible… at Cask Strength!

Hey all! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted to iwritecodesometimes.net, but I’m back! I’ve got lots of Xamarin goodies in the pipeline, but due to recent client work, I can now add some React Native content to the mix. To that end, please find my inaugural React Native about barreling and how it can make refactoring easier at this external link, and keep an eye out for future posts both there and here at iwritecodesometimes.net. As always, my latest updates and the occasional witty(?) quip can be found on Twitter.

Ok, shameless plug over. It’s good to be back, all – Happy Coding! 😄
